Abstract
This article discusses the effectiveness of the propagation of Islam through the medium of television. Television as one of the audio visual media is very influential and effective in spreading Islamic propaganda in modern society as it is today. Effective because it can reach out to society at large, the television message is presented in the audio-visual, more quickly provide in formation compared with other media, and cultural effects of television is greater than the effects produces by other media types. Therefore, the preacher must master communication media including television media in order to facilitate the dilivery of message spreaching. Television media can be a media builders, developers of thought, and shaping peoples behavior if the show sort television programs more ethical and moral. By him, the television program should be designed so as not to the outside of the Islamic corridor so that the Muslim make television as a medium of propaganda.
