Abstract

This paper aims to describe the factors that drive drug abuse among parents in Bone Regency and how to deal with drug abuse among the elderly. There are two factors that cause drug abuse among parents, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors that cause drug abuse among parents are lifestyle or pleasure, while external factors are family factors and social environmental factors or friends. Efforts to prevent it are by holding various socializations that are held at schools, correctional institutions, and youth organizations and conducting FGD activities and urine tests on officials in the Regent's Office of Bone Regency.
