Abstract
The problems discussed in this paper are: (1) what about Muslim religious training methods in Class II A Prison Watampone? (2) how is educating skills Muslim in Penitentiary II Class AWatampone? This type of research is qualitative, data collection was conducted by doing observation and in-depth interviews. Target of the research is a method of educating inmates by collecting data from prison officers/instructors, prisoners and community members who are directly involved in the process of educating as a key information. The results showed, that there are several methods used in the educating of prisoners, among others: (1) Method of religious guidance including: methods or preaching/speaking, reading and writing of the Koran and discussions, (2) Method of educating, including: traditional methods expertise and practical skills. With the educating method, the member knowledge and expertise in the prisoners’ religious knowledge and skills that can be a good community.
